Wow. I am SO sorry for being out of touch. Like, honestly, sorry.

Anyhow. Here's the lowdown of the getdown! First of all, I GOT A JOB! Well... Full time anyhow. I am now working as a Motion Graphic Artist/Designer. This by no means means that I have abandoned print. I still love print, and will continue taking on freelance Graphic Design jobs, but as of now, I'm living the dream. I started working for the video finishing house Boogie Monster Studios. I know. No one took me seriously when I said I worked there. But that's their name. Hit them up! I just finished working on their new website (along with my other co-worker) www.boogiemonster.com.au. You will click that liiiiiiink...

Second is Velocity. I'm just doing up the pencils and will have some stuff up soon. Look out for that. I'm actually still trying to do that project.

Last but not least I've been working on a new motion graphics showreel. I'm super excited because the studio I'm with is giving me the chance to do some demo work to show off some of my skill for clientelle. I'm going to be doing some live footage and 2D image integration as well as some really nice motion typography. Love that stuff. I've also started on a personal project that will tackle the issue of our earth and how we treat it. It's kinda like a short film, but 90% motion graphics.

But this is better and optimized to work for your browser better than the last one... and did I mention it just LOOKS better? The image up top is me! Call it big headed, but I think it's cool. I also has a semi working news section! Cool huh? Anyhow. If anything happens to me this will be the place to go to find out... Ok, actually, my Facebook is more reliable... I have a twitter account that probably needs some attention.

Well, it's been a crazy and hectic 2010 for me. But I have finally finished Uni! Huzzah! I'm confident I'll graduate, I've been sitting in the High Distinction area for a while now... But for whatever reason, I have a GNS (Grades Not Submitted) on my final report. I'll need to take this up with my lecturer. Fingers crossed I'll be graduating with a fancy hat and robe come Febuary!

I've also begun my quest for a full time job! I've already begun creating and printing my self promotional material. Pack includes a portfolio of my work, business card, a comic version of my CV and a fold out image of me in swimming trunks! I've also started taking on more freelance work again. Uni kind of killed me and made accepting work very difficult.

I'm also currently working on an anthology called VELOCITY. Look out for it at the up and coming Supernova event coming up all around Australia.

Well, thats it for now. I'm hoping I won't get super busy again and neglect the news section like I usually do... Here's hoping. But then again, in a sense, no news is kinda good news. It means I have work. Or I'm dead. But let's not go there.
